ABOUT US

We are a team of dedicated educational counselors passionate about nurturing young people. My name is Phoebe Nie, and I'm the Founder of Thetaworks Education (formally Hualong Education Group), and a non-profit CBO Thetaworks Academy.

 

Before becoming a 24/7 ( I mean it!) educational counselor, I was a media analyst at major TV studios in China and the U.S., a founder of a marketing counsultancy empowering small businesses with cost-effiective branding strategies. I've also been an active volunteer at local school districts and educational communities in the past decade. I received my certificate in College Counseling and Career Planning at UC Berkeley, B.S. in TV Producing from Communication University of China, and Master’s in Communication Management at University of Southern California.

Looking back from my shoulder, I have been an advocate, action taker, and lifelong learner.

I have also received certificates in College Counseling and Career Planning, and WOW Essay Coaching. As an active member of NACAC and IECA, I have successfully helped dozens of students gain acceptance to their target schools in the past 4 admission cycles.

High school planning and college admissions are Our educational counselors hold certificates in College Counseling and Career Planning, or Certified Educational Planner.  certified U.S. admissions consultants, career advisors, K-12 educators, top university scholars, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs. A dedicated team supports students in exploring interests while developing strong learning habits.

As NACAC, IECA, and HECA members, our admissions and career consultants craft personalized plans tailored to each student. Our academic and competition mentors bring deep expertise, helping students achieve outstanding results.
